My son was at an airport one day and stopped by a booth with suns of all sizes. He knows I like them so bought me this smaller one for indoors. It stands away from the wall a bit and looks great above our large wine rack!

We've had this thermometer hanging behind whatever bird bath we've had for 20 plus years. It's ceramic so I'm surprised it hasn't broken in a storm. The temp readings are accurate until it gets really hot and the sun is right on it.

I always used to have the yellow and blue moon and star (pics coming up) behind the buddha and rocks but changed it to this sun. That side needs color especially since the plum tree is gone.

I threw out two old suns that were beat up and had thin curly metal on them. Too hard to sand and repair. These I kept, sanded and repainted. The sun was from my mom many years ago. She had one too but kept hers rusty, which is how they were sold.

The sun from my mom was perfect for the side patio. Even if I get a different color umbrella canopy it will still go with the cushions. This little patio is seen from inside the house from the sliding glass door in the great room.
